How do you make Mom have a total freakout???

Well, it is so simple. You take a very cute, but slightly mischievous little 3 year old and give her scissors!! Eden cut her hair off today. Big chunks are gone!!! The bangs are gone. So. after I have a prayer and some chocolate cake, I feel a little better. I got her hair fixed as best as I could and now it will have to grow out some....or a lot. Hopefully it will grow out enough by July 6 because that is when we are having family pictures done. Did I mention how most of the left side is gone?! Does faith work on growing hair out? Is my faith strong enough?? I could use some extra prayers, if only for my sanity!!!

Well the good thing is at least its just hair and it will grow back...maybe not by July 6th. Look at the possitive side: One day in the future (maybe the far far future) you will be able to look back and laugh. For now, I'll be praying for you and her hair.

Deep breaths! Did you talk to Sara yet? Katie cut her hair too! Eeek! I'm so glad Anna didn't join in!

[SHRIEK OF HORROR]We've been through this in our family too!! How awful! I understand only too well!! Why do kids do this? You are not altering Naomi's cut as well are you?

I did give Naomi a haircut, too. But only because she asked!! and hers is still cuter because she still has all he hair! She reminded me that she didn't want hers gone like Eden's....no problem, Naomi.

Here is my blog entry after the same thing happened at our house, exactly 1 year ago:

The only thing I can comfort you with is that Elina's hair has grown an incredible amount since then, 6 inches.

I swear sometimes that our kids are trying to kill us, slowly with one crazy act after another. I say, eat some more chocolate cake. It will help.

That is crazy awful, but I can't help but laugh because it is so true. Cutting of our daugther's precious hair so warrants a major freakout. I am so glad that you gave yourself a treat of chocolate cake. :) That is the best! Love you girl and I am sure it will grow back out a little by July
