Listening Skills
I know I have mentioned this before, but I really wonder when my kids will start listening to my voice. When will I stop being just annoying background noise that is constantly irritating them? I think I am a fairly intelligent person. I seem to be able to take care of myself and if they would look around, they are thriving pretty well. I even think that parts of life may be easier if they would listen (and it might save me some $$$$$). Of course, part of listening is doing and that is the most difficult part!

:) I have to remember this too... They probably are listening, it just won't sink in unfortunately until they have left home and they don't have that comforting "background noise!" That's when you will probably get all the phone calls and get to say "I told you so!" and (hopefully) not get a teenagers response of disgust! Hang in there...you're closer to that light at the end of the tunnel than I am!
