I had a really funny conversation with Zachary yesterday. I asked him if he would mix up some cookies for me because I had gotten behind on the "things to do". So he agreed- sort of. We were using a really yummy recipe from Sarah Hubler for molasses cookies, but it was too big for our mixer so it needed to be cut in half. No big deal, right?
It called for 3 eggs. Zachary asked "What do you do?"
I told him " Just use 2 eggs. It will be fine."
He replied "Oh. I cut the egg in half."
Me "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA How did you even do that?"
First I took out the yolk. I poured in half the white. I split the yolk in half and then put that half in."
I just laughed again. I guess he was very precise in his baking. The cookies were great and they're gone!

Wow that is way too much work! I can't imagine needing to HALF a recipe. I usually double it. :-)
